“Dental implants are the most like-for-like way of replacing missing or failing teeth. They look, work, and feel pretty much like natural teeth do. The treatment is often carried out over two stages. The first stage being the placement of the implant in the position of the missing tooth, and normally about two to three months later, the making of the tooth is fitted and secured to the implant, thereby replacing the missing tooth.
In situations where the missing or failing tooth is towards the front of the mouth, temporary options can be provided during that initial two to three-month resting phase before the final tooth is fitted.
