My area of interest is implant dentistry. It’s an area that I feel really passionate about because it allows us to deliver transformative, life-changing changes for our patients — everything from replacing a missing or failing tooth with a single implant, to comprehensive care replacing all of a patient’s missing teeth.

In addition to my implant training, in which I have a master’s degree, I have taken hospital jobs in oral surgery departments, and that has allowed me to gain excellent experience in delivering surgical care.

In addition to that, I also hold postgraduate certificates in periodontics — which is gum care — and restorative dentistry, which is to do with replacing and rebuilding teeth.

My training and experience allow me to deliver comprehensive care for our patients.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family — my wife Janine and our two young daughters.

And anytime I get to myself, I enjoy swimming, cycling, and running, and taking part in triathlon events.

I’m also a Manchester United fan — and unfortunately, having supported the club since the age of six, we’ve seen better days.

Since qualifying as a dentist Mehdi has undertaken extensive postgraduate training enabling him to provide the best possible care to the patients he treats. He completed his vocational training in Manchester 2008 before working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Norwich 2009, gaining Oral Surgery experience. Shortly after this post Mehdi successfully completed his membership examination to the Royal College of Surgeons. From 2009 to 2011 Mehdi worked as a Specialty Dentist in Oral Surgery at King’s College Hospital in London where he contributed to the teaching of dental students and the training of junior dentists in Oral Surgery. During this time Mehdi completed a postgraduate Diploma in Dental Sedation, training at Guy’s Hospital, London 2010. Mehdi previously worked in Kent establishing a referral base for providing dental implant treatment, oral surgery and sedation for patients in the local and surrounding areas.
Mehdi completed a master’s degree in implant dentistry with merit MSc in Implant Dentistry at the University of Warwick. In 2013 and 2015 Mehdi was shortlisted for the award of ‘Best Young Dentist in the UK’.
Mehdi’s experience and commitment to career development have enabled him to establish a special interest in providing dental implant treatment, oral surgery and sedation.
Mehdi’s calm and caring approach to Dentistry ensures that his patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout the course of their treatment.
When not at work Mehdi enjoys spending time with his wife Janine and their young family as well as watching and playing football, running, walking and socialising and friends.
